When we all fell in love with Siena

We all loved Siena.  So much so that we've rearranged our plans to spend an extra day there-- I know you'll say 'told you so', Dad! 

I don't even have the words to describe it, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.  Aidan and I climbed to the top of the Torre del Mangia in the middle of the Campo.  Melinda had too much stair PTSD (400 narrow stairs).  Aidan actually ran up almost all the stairs.  He wasn't afraid of the height of the tower going up, but almost had a nervous breakdown climbing down.  He succeeded, though, with my help and the encouragement from an older man from California who kept giving Aidan high fives every time climbed down a flight of stairs.  

  We all want to spend many many many more days in Siena and hope to return there in the future.
